Mr. Rubin is a Firm Shareholder whose practice concentrates on the defense of health care professionals in medical malpractice claims as well as manufacturers and other entities in a product's distributive chain in product liability actions. Mr. Rubin’s litigation experience involves all phases of fact and expert discovery, motions practice, defending and deposing expert witnesses, and bench and jury trials in the Mid-Atlantic region.Prior to joining Wharton Levin, Mr. Rubin was a law clerk for the Honorable Timothy J. Doory of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. While in law school, Mr. Rubin served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia of the Maryland Court of Appeals as well as the Honorable Deborah K. Chasanow of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. After graduating with honors from Franklin & Marshall College in 2006, Mr. Rubin attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, in 2010.Mr. Rubin serves on Wharton Levin’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, focusing on increasing the recruitment, retention, and promotion of employees from all races, ethnicities, cultures, religions, genders and sexual orientations.
